Mrs. Annie Miller Collins, 100, of Hemingway, widow of Durham C. Collins, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1910 in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late John Taylor Miller and the late Harriette Elizabeth Williams Miller.

Mrs. Collins attended Georgetown County schools and was a member of Center Baptist Church.

She was a gracious and loving lady who loved her family.

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and enjoyed her flowers.

Survivors include daughters Annie Jo (Leonard) Altman of Hemingway, SC; Louise (A.W. Jr.) Goins of Oates, SC; 10 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Collins was pre-deceased by her son, Johnny Oneal Collins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Center Baptist Church, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway.

Services will be officiated by Dr. Rick Henderson, Rev. Robert G. Amerson, and Rev. Bob Crawford.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m.
