A memorial service for Alfred J. Halligan, 60, of the Lake Murray Area, who died Monday in his home, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Erickson Anderson La Mesa Mortuary. Cremation is planned, with ashes to be inurned in Cypress View Mausoleum.

Mr. Halligan was born in Corwith, Iowa, and lived in the county 25 years. He was part owner of Trico Floors in Lemon Grove and a member of Elks Lodge 1812. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Vilah; a son, Bill of San Jose; his mother, Ethel, and a sister, Evelyn Huschka, both of Corwith; and three grandchildren.
