Robert Peyton Fortune, 81, died Jan 9, 1988 in Waco TX. Services at Rosemound Cemetery. He was born in Waco TX Sep 12, 1906, and lived most of his life in Waco. He was employed at Neeley Sand and Gravel Co as manager, and during WWII helped build the Bluebonnet Ordnance Plant. His wife and his owned Fortune Antique and Gift Shop until retirement in 1982. Robert was a charter member of St Louis Catholic church. Survivors: wife, Mae B. Fortune of McLennan County TX; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth McConnell of New Jersey and Mrs. Patricia Johnson of Waco TX; son Robert P. Fortune; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
