Marie Hamrick was born on October 29, 1906 to Warren and Viola Hamrick at De Kalb, Illinois. When she was eight years old, she moved with her family to Angus, Minnesota. She graduated from the Northwest School of Crookston.
One Jun 6, 1928, she was united in marriage to Alvin Baron at Grand Forks, North Dakota. They lived in McClusky, North Dakota for over thirty years. Later, she moved to Fargo, North Dakota where she worked for Shotwells Clothing until retiring. In 1981, she moved to Warren until moving to the Pioneer Nursing Home in Baudette in 1987.
Mrs. Baron was a member of the Melo Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Left to mourn her passing are one son, Donald of Baudette, Minnesota; two grandsons, Randy and Russell, both of Baudette; five grandchildren and one brother, Ralph Hamrick of Warren, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin, who passed away in October of 1961 and one brother, Frank.
