Thomas was the son of Richard White and Jane Ferguson White. Thomas was married Mary Lee Tooley. His second wife was Cleavie Hill.

The Reverend T. A. White, long time Minister in the Mt. Zion District is now a shut - in. He pastored in eight of the thirteen churches throughout the Mt. Zion District.
His first church was in Shanndale, Missouri, where he was born. His "home church" in Forest Green, Missouri which is still active today.

Cleavie White was a Food Service Manger at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri for ten years before she married Reverent T. A. White.

Cleavie moved from her home town in Fayette, Missouri to Brookfield, Missouri and on September 8, 1973 married Reverend White.

Reverend and Mrs. T. A. White are members of First Baptiste Church, Brookfield, Missouri. Reverend G.C. Mills, Pastor and Reverend T. A. White and Pastor Emeritus.

Reverend White has been ministering over fifty years and received many awards from the State, Convention, Mt. Zion District and the First Baptist Chruch in Brookfield, Missouri.

He was Vice Moderator for the Mt. Zion District for sixteen years, and along with the late Reverend A. J. Clayton, Moderator, worked together well and had great respect for each other.

Cleavie now cares for her husband, Reverend White, comfortably in their home which keeps him from being in a nursing home. They also have home health care nursing in their home five days a week.

Reverend and Mrs. T. A. White sends each and everyone their Christian blessings and love and are very sorry they cannot make the Family Reunion this year July 1989..
