Mrs. Eva Hill, 89, died friday at a Salem nursing home where she has resided for the past four years. She was born in Decatur, (Wise Co.,) TX, coming to Oregon in 1909, settling at The Dalles. She moved to Salem in 1929.
Mrs. Hill was married in 1897 at Limon, (Lincoln Co.,) CO to William (Lee) Hill, who died in 1956. She was a member of the Jason Lee Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Floyd (Vada Lee) Bates, Salem, and Mrs. William Donald (Frances Margurite) Wilkinson, Corvallis; two sons, Elmore E. Hill, Salem, and Joseph C. Hill, Montebello, CA,; five grandaughters and seven great-grandsons.
Services will be 2:30 pm Monday at Barrick Chapel. Dr. S. Raynor Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park***
