Bertrum Thompson
ALDERSON Bertrum Dice Thompson, 74, of Alderson, died yesterday at his home after a short illness. He was a retired Chesapeake and Ohio railway worker. Surviving are his wife, Ulda Viola; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Yakes of Virginia; five sons, Glen of Dunbar, Clinton of California, Fred of Charleston, Howard and Grady Thompson, both of South Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Artie Weikle of Sarton; a brother, C. D. of Creamery; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services at 11a.m. tomorrow in the Johnson Memorial Methodist church at Alderson will be conducted by the Rev. C. W. Ambrose and burial will be in the Alderson cemetery under direction of Lobban mortuary there.
