Mary Austin, 89, of Pleasant View died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Russellville. She was born October 8, 1925, in Yell County to Alonzo and Pearl Brown Kendrick. She was a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronal Jim Austin; five brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Billie Jo Austin.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James Ronal and Susan Austin of Chester, Virginia and William (Bill) and Patty Austin of Russellville; three brothers and sisters; five grandchildren and their spouses, Mark and Sherri Austin of Diamond, Missouri, Jennifer and Frank Wesley of Dardanelle, Adam and Kira Austin of Spokane, Washington, Seth and Stefanie Austin of Midlothian, Virginia and Laura and Jake Dunlow of Wappinger's Falls, New York; and nine great-grandchildren, Landon and Eli O'Bryant, Katelyn and Haylee Austin, Corbin and Teagan Austin, Grayson Austin and Elijah and Marcy Dunlow.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel with burial in Ball Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Visitation will be Monday, May 25, 2015 from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family invites friends and family to Harmony Free Will Baptist Church 3580 SR 124, Russellville, Arkansas 72802 following the visitation for refreshments.
