Imogene Marie Savill of Lakeville, IN passed away at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Highland Regional Medical Center, Sebring, FL. She was born on November 16, 1920 in Lakeville, IN to D. Lloyd and Olive (Ryman) Rensberger. On May 20, 1945 in North Liberty, IN, she married Richard C. Savill who preceded her in death on October 20, 2002.

Mrs. Savill is survived by two daughters, Janet L. (Ruby) Heintzelman of Dothan, Al and Gloria J. (Philip) Wenger of Elkhart, IN; three sons, Craig R. (Judy C.) Savill of South Bend, IN, Alan D. (Keena) Savill of Bourbon, IN and Gary L. (Judy A.) Savill of Lakeville, IN; thirteen grandchildren, Carmen Heintzelman, Jill Heintzelman, Michelle (Eric) Laurence, Kimberly (Mark) Whitacre, Preston (Brittney) Savill, Matthew Savill, Brent Savill, Samantha Savill, Katie Savill, Esther (Codie) Funk, Jonathan Wafford, Clint (Tara) Hedington and Ryan Hedington; nine great grandchildren, Zachary Whitacre, Emmelin Whitacre, Ryan Laurence, Saydi Laurence, Breanna Laurence, Ella Funk, Eli Funk, Lauren Hedington and Landon Hedington. She is also survived by a sister, Inez Beron of Plymouth, IN and brother, Loren (Dixie) Rensberger of Plymouth, IN.

Mrs. Savill was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1983 after thirteen years as a librarian for the Lakeville Elementary School. She was a former Sunday School teacher at the former Taber United Methodist Church in North Liberty and a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Plymouth Shuffleboard Club.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. Burial will follow at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty. The family will receive friends from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
