Bobbie Gene Jackson, 66, of Amarillo died Monday, April 14, 2003. Services will be at Tascosa Road Fellowship with Jay Roberson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. Mr. Jackson was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Laurinburg, N.C. He married Donna Keys on Aug. 11, 1960, in Amarillo. He served with the Air Force for 12 years, receiving an honorable discharge in 1967. Mr. Jackson was a letter carrier for the USPS and a member of NALC 1031, prior to retiring in 1992. He received a liver transplant on Sept. 8, 1992, and encouraged everybody to become an organ donor and to make their wishes be known to their next-of-kin. He was a member of Tascosa Road Fellowship where he was active in the choir. He was a generous and loving husband, dad and "Papa." Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Janice Lewison and husband, Scott, of Humble, Kathy Owens, Anna Singletary and Velinda Pacheco and husband, Jerry, all of Amarillo, and Kim Graham of Poteau, Okla.; a son, Bob Jackson Jr. and wife, Lisa, of San Antonio; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer Singletary, Roger Singletary, Steven Singletary, Alexa Rae Pacheco, Holly Noel Pacheco and Nicholas Ryan Pacheco, all of Amarillo, Ryan Lewison of Austin, Keri Beth Lewison and Karly Lewison, both of Humble, Asha Jackson, Laurie Ann Stamey and Roger Stamey, all of San Antonio, and Emily Cooper, Tyler Graham and Jacob Graham, all of Poteau; a great-grandchild, Raven Brooke Pennington; his mother, Martha Chavis of Red Springs, N.C.; a sister, Linda Moody of Maxton, N.C.;
