Betty Ledford, 65, of Amarillo died Friday, April 18, 2003.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Bill Medley, chaplain of Yellow Rose Sams, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Ledford was born in Fannin County. She was office manager for Ledford Dental Labs. She was a member of Tascosa Country Club, where she was Ladies Club Golf Champion in 1993.
She was involved in junior golf at Tascosa Country Club and helped start the junior golf program at Lake Tanglewood. She was a past member of Saints and Spinners Square Dance Club, Panhandle Boat & Ski Club, Daughters of the Nile and current member of Yellow Rose Sams as well as Paramount Baptist Church.
She married Walter Ledford on April 13, 1956, in Lubbock. They were married 47 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Franklin, and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Craig Ledford and wife, Terry, of Amarillo and Jay Ledford and wife, Cindy, of Euless; a brother, Roy Franklin of Slaton; four grandchildren, Jamey Ledford, Brian and Christy Ledford, Justin Ledford and Sara Ledford; and one great-grandchild.
