Martin VanBuren, aged 78 years died Tuesday at the Michigan Soldiers Home hospital. He had been an inmate of the home since 1898. He was born in 1843 in Springfield, Otsego Co, NY, the son of Tobias and Dolly (Dingman) VanBuren. He served in the Civil War from 1863 till it's close. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw, Mich.
