Mrs. Cash Galvin, 78, of 344 State st., died Sunday in a Madison hospital
She was born near Cottage Grove and later lived in South Dakota. She moved back to Madison in 1939. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Past Matron's Club and of Madison Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Stacy Gutzler, also of 344 State st., and Mrs. Harold Palmer, 3925 Rockwell ave.; three sons, Charles, LaCrescenta, Calif; Richard, Cottage Grove, and Clarence, Burbank, Calif. 16 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gunderson Funeral home, 5203 Monona dr., with the Rev. John Dirksen, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Cottage Grove, officiating. Burial will be in Cottage Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Tuesday.
