Lemuel Rasmuss Jeppesen, 76, Harper Ward, Utah, died early Sunday Morning at the Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home, Brigham City, Utah, of natural causes.

He was born on June 11, 1888 in Mantua, Utah, a son of John Peter and Marie Anna Christensen Seppesen.

He married Grace Bischoff on March 17, 1920 in Salmon, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple.

He had been a Farmer.

An active member of the LDS Church, he was a High Priest in the Harper Ward at the time of his death. He had served in the Branch Presidency while living in Salmon, Idaho, where he helped to construct the First LDS Ward Chapel. He had served an LDS Mission in the Northwestern States and two Home Missions in the North Box Elder Stake.

He lived in Brigham City for three years prior to moving to Harper Ward in 1933.

Surviving are his widow, Harper Ward, Utah; two sons, Van L Jeppesen, Clearfield, Utah; Dee R Jeppesen, Ogden, Utah; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Lilly Christensen, Brigham City, Utah; and Mrs Arleen McKee, Salmon, Idaho.

Burial was held in the Call's Fort Cemetery, Honeyville, Utah.
