Tarrytown Lodge No. 526, F. & A.M., September 13, 1919.
On Saturday morning, July 5, 1919, the Angel of Eternal Rest touched the great heart of Brother Daniel Foster Warnock and the mortal part of him ceased its labors and his spirit winged its way to rest forever in the bosom of our Heavenly Father.
Brother Daniel Foster Warnock was born in Laurens County May 29, 1873. Moved to Montgomery County in 1892 and has since engaged in the timber business, ran a ginnery, and had become a large land owner, doing extensive farming.
On January 18, 1906, he was married to Miss Alma Beatrice Flanders, she having preceeded him to the grave November 3, 1911.
Three children survive them – Bernice, D.F., Jr. & Herman.
On March 9, 1919, he married Miss Lizzie Calhoun, who survives him. About the year 1904 he joined the Tarrytown Missionary Baptist Church, proving a consistent and substantial member of the same.
He was entered, passed and raised at Harmony Lodge No. 405 in 1904. In 1907 he helped constitute the Lodge at Tarrytown, having been its first worshipful master.
And now in sorrow we bid him an earthly farewell, and believing as Masons and as children of a loving Father that a blessed reunion awaits us beyond the western skies our grief is softened.
