Anna Byerley Dunham

Anna Byerley Dunham, 82, of Fairchance, died Wednes-day, March 22, 1995, at home.

She was born March 1, 1913, in Smithfield, daughter of the late George and Mildred Bowman Byerley.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Dunham on Feb. 3, 1985; a grandson, Jeffrey Abraham; two sisters, Madora Cooley and Olive Strickler; and one brother, Edward Byerley.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Mary Catherine) Abraham of Fairchance; five grandchildren, Linda Phillippi, David Abra-ham, Lesa Guley, Laural Molin and William B. Abraham; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dunham was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairchance, the Mixed Adult Sunday School Class, the Charter Missionary Society and the York Run Grange No. 1699.

The family will receive friends in the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home, 21 East Church St., Fair-chance, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 25, 1995, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Marion Haynes-Weller offic-iating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Fairchance.
