Sara Leeila Hudson Buff, 88, of 1404 N Lafayette Street passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born in Cleveland County on January 14, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Julius Roland Hudson and Effie Mamie Bivens Hudson. Mrs. Buff was a member of David's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Buff was preceded in death by her husband, Carmie Buff; son, Hugh Lee Buff; brother, Jessie Hudson; and sister, Goldie Ritchie.

She is survived by brothers, Fred Hudson of Conover and Ivey Hudson of Hickory; and sisters, Ossie Swainey of Denver, Susie Greene of Hickory, Mary Johnson of Lawndale, and Ruby Moses of Hickory.

Funeral:Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Wallace and Mr. Eric Stamey officiating.

Burial: Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
