SANDY RIDGE, NC ~ Eunice Shaffer Amos, 89, of Amos Ridge Rd., passed away, Sunday,
October 27, 2013, at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Delta
United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.

Eunice was born August 26, 1924, in Stokes County to the late John and Josie Amos Shaffer. She was a member of Delta United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Women. She was the owner and operator of the Sandy Ridge Beauty Shop. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a special friend to
many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orell Amos.

Survivors include sons, Johnny D. Amos (Jill) and Ronny B. Amos, of Sandy Ridge; grandchildren, Tiffany Amos Gann (Eric), Ashley and Allie Amos; an great-grandchild, Will Gann.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel and other times at the residence.

Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
