Leroy Harry Church, 61, of 2885 Rockton Rd., Rockton. Died in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis IN. Friday Sept 7th.
A lifelong area resident. Born Sept 29, 1928 in Janesville. The son of Fred and Alfarata (Abrams) Church. He married Beatrice Betty Bell, March 11, 1950, in Janesville.
He was a 1947 graduate of Janesville High School and had been employed 34 year with Beloit Corporation until his retirement in 1989. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Beloit and was a member of the American Foundryman Society.
Survivors include his wife; son John (sharron) Church of Austell Georgia; two daughters, DiAnna (Bruce) Rosquist of Machesney Park IL., and Melody (Kieth) Latsch of Milton Wis. Three brothers Fred (Joan) Church of Afton Wis, Gordon Church of Janesville wis, Sidney Church of Wis. Two sisters, Fae Church of Bowler Wis and Joyce Church of Janesville Wis. Four grandchildren, Nathan and Crystal Church, Jason Rosquist and Cody James Latsch. One sister in law Rosella Church of Beloit Wis. And many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Earl Sr. and sister in law Sarah (Sidney) Church.
The funeral will be 1PM Wednesday, Sept 12, at the Church of God of prophecy, Beloit Wis, with the Rev. John Pace officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit IL. Friends may call 6-8 PM, Tuesday at Rosman Uehling Kinzer on Cranston Rd. Beloit. Memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy.
