Rosalie Adams Cheney, 94, died on July 21, 2011, in Sandy, Utah.

Rosalie was born April 3, 1917, in American Falls, Idaho, to John and Ella Abercrombie. She married Dee Adams of Manard, Idaho, in 1936. To this union, two children were born, Ronnie and Deann. Dee passed away in Gooding in 1979.

Rosalie lived in Gooding many years; she was very talented and creative. For many years, she taught ceramics and china painting and porcelain doll making in her popular shop, "Rosalie's Ceramics," in Gooding. She loved oil painting as well. She had a natural gift for music, beginning with the harmonica, accordion and then her Hammond organ and piano. She enjoyed her garden and loved to work outside. Mom loved the Lord all her life and is now with Him in heaven.

Rosalie is survived by her two daughters, Ronnie Adams of Sumter, S.C., and Deann Coble of Sandy, Utah; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Abercrombie of Roseberg, Ore.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.

Arrangements are under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel.
