Lillian Odelia (Carrier) Jarvey, 76, of 1515 Stuckey Road, a teacher's aide with the Head Start Program, died of heart failure Saturday at a local hospital.
Vigil is 7 p.m. today at O'Connor Funeral Home. Her funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Survivors include Daniel Jarvey of Great Falls; daughters Dorothy (Rick) Langan, Patricia Perez, Deborah (Robert) Short, Judy (Richard) Hurd and Kathy (Jeff) Fenner, all of Great Falls, and Terri (Ed) Juneau of Missoula; sons Jay (Carol) Jarvey, Henry (Cindy) Jarvey, Alan (Sheena) Jarvey and Larry Jarvey, all of Great Falls, and Jack Jarvey of Missoula; her first and very special grandchild who she helped raise, Stephanie WritingBird of Great Falls; 36 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
She loved to travel, was an avid reader, enjoyed Elvis Presley's music, watched wrestling faithfully and loved puzzles. She also enjoyed sewing, making quilts and Christmas stockings for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
