Margaretha Anna (Schlesing) Heller
A Highly Respected Lady Goes to Her Reward
Mrs. V. Heler, an old and highly respected lady who has resided in this city the greater part of her life, died at the home of her son-in law, Mr. Henry Mauntel, yesterday morning at 9:10 o'clock. She died of blood-poisoning, from which she had been suffering for some time, and her death came as a welcome relief to the kind old lady. She was the wife of Mr. V. Heller, who, for many years, was engaged in the merch and tailoring business in this city, and who, at this writing, is down with pueumonia at the home of his son-in-law.
Mrs. Heller was a native of Germany, and was 75 years and 5 months old. She was a good christian woman, a kind, loving wife and mother, and was respected by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and four children - Mrs. Henry Mauntel, of this city; Ernst Heller, of Boonville; Conrad Heller, of Princeton; and John Heller, who is in the Regular army in the Philippine Islands - to mourn her death.
The Funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon, Rev. G.A. Kienle officiating. Interment at Fairmount cemetery.
