LaMUNYON Pearl, 91, of Edmond, Ok., passed away Jan. 27, 1997 in Edmond, Ok. She was born April 25, 1905 in Woodburn, Il. to Roy O. and Eva Cecil Greer. Pearl was a retired bookkeeper for Suddruth Construction Co. and also General Motors. She had lived in Edmond since 1963 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Edmond, Ok. Pearl was a former resident of Konawa and former publisher of the Konawa Leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Robert LaMunyon, Sr. and son, Colonel Robert LaMunyon II. Survivors include sisters, Martha Grace Tassin of Edmond, Ok., Geneveve Greer of Edmond, Ok., Rebecca Irene Boles of Carnegie, Ok; 3 grandchildren, Colonel Robert LaMunyon III of Houston, Tx., Lydia Ann Montgomery of Houston, Tx., and Deborah Jane Slay of Houston, Tx.; 3 great grandchildren, Michael and Patrick Moore, Rebecca Slay. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Senior Citizens Bus Fund, c/o First Baptist Church, Edmond, Ok. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, OKC, Ok.
