Leo Legrange Childs was born August 19, 1881 to Angness (Fullmer) and Parker Albert Childs. Leo married Matilda Nielson aka Inger Batilda "Tilda" Nielson Childs. They had a son, Willard Childs who was born November 11, 1910 and died on November 12, 1910 at one day of age.

Leo L. Childs died February 11, 1920 and is buried at the Chilly Cemetery in Custer County, Idaho.
