Henry is Albert Ekker's brother and settled what is now the Christensen Ranch, about a mile east of the Ekker Ranch where Albert raised his family. Henry has been resting in an unmarked grave in the Eureka cemetery for all these years (he died from a wagon bed he was repairing falling on him and crushing his chest in 1901 at the age of 51) and thanks to the Eureka Town records, I found him, and we put a marker on his grave. He emigrated to America from Holland in 1854 with a cousin, Elco Ekker. Came on into Utah Territory and settled on his ranch, and than Grandpa Ekker, (Albert) followed as a boy of 19, and after marriage, went out near his brother, Henry, and settled. by Patricia Ekker Holden
