BLAKE--Harriet C., Nov. 19; age 80 years. Beloved mother of Paul C. and Wilbur H. Blake, sister of Mame Halderman, Mt. Carroll, Ill., and grandmother of Pauline Blake. Services Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. at Lewis Mortuary, Rev. Clyde S. Crowder officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope.

Final rites will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 in the Lewis mortuary chapel for Mrs. Harriett C. Blake, 80, of 45 Thirty-fifth st., who died Saturday in a local sanitarium. The Rev. Clyde S. Crowder will officiate, and burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
A native of Mt. Carroll, Ill., Mrs. Blake taught school there and in Iowa for several years. She was married in 1887 to Denison O. Blake, newspaper man in Mt. Carroll, and later editor of the Pocahontas (Ia.) Record. They moved to San Diego in 1931. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in La Mesa in 1937. Mr. Blake died in 1938.
Mrs. Blake, a member of the Normal Heights Methodist church, taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Rebekah and Royal Neighbor Lodges of Pocahontas, Ia., and a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star in the same city.
Surviving are two sons, Wilbur H. Blake, of San Diego, and Paul C. Blake, of La Mesa, and one granddaughter, Pauline Blake, of La Mesa.
