Ross was very industrious. He had the Arbuckle Garage in Iola in 1917 where he sold cars. In 1923 he had a Radio Station KFID. He was in a Hillbilly band. He flew a biplane. He was the Mayor of Iola 1950-1951. All of which is written about him in the Annuals of Allen County Kansas. He was first married to Mary Jeck and after her death married Lena ?. His children with Mary were Harold, Charles and Glen.
