Watkins.---Elvera Lois Watkins, little daughter of Brother and Sister Ed. Watkins, was born Dec. 6, 1917; died Nov. 29, 1918; aged 6 days less than one year. Cause of death was influenza.
Since both parents were down in bed with the same disease no funeral was held. Little Elvera Lois leaves father, mother, and one little brother to mourn the loss of a dear child.
The remains were buried at Hopewell Cemetery, east of Hubbard, Oregon, Nov. 30, with short services at the grave.
