Walter H. Guild, 75, of Riverdale, died Wednesday, Oct 14, 1987, at Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Schnepp Funeral Home in Riverdale. Burial will be in the Richland Township Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Patient Equipment Locker or the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Guild was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Richland Township to William and Gertrude (Malloy) Guild. He married Marcella Brindle in Royal Oak Nov. 3, 1932.
Mr. Guild retired in 1971 from the Ford Motor Company, where he worked in quality control for block grinders. He was a member of the Royal Oak Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Guild is survived by his wife, Marcella of Riverdale; two sons, William of Longpock, Calif., and Robert of Taylor; one sister, Mrs. Ila Berdslee of Detroit; 10 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Hubert, Ronald and Owen; and three sisters, Grace, Doris and Marvel
