Abigail nicknamed "Nabby" is the daughter of Benjamin Percival and Lydia Fuller. According to Benjamin's diary (pg. 124): "This day just before sunset I had a daughter born". She was his first daughter (he had one other who didn't survive into adulthood). He had four sons before she was born.

She grew up on the Percival homestead located on Percival Lane, not far from the cemetery. The house, which was built around 1690 in Falmouth, was moved to its present location on Hog Pond in the mid 1700's.
