John M. Parham, age 84, of South Fulton, TN died Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Obion Co. Nursing Home in Union City, TN.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY and had worked for the City of Fulton Public Works Department. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and had lived in this area most of his life.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter in law Robert Parham of Martin,TN and Roger Parham (Diana) of Pace, Florida, four daughters and two sons in law Tina Smith (Edward) of Mayfield, KY, Fannie Armstrong of Union City,TN, Velma Ethridge (Billy) of South Fulton, TN and Mildred Truelove of South Fulton, TN, thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Cleveland Parham and Victoria Morrison Parham, a brother and a sister .

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, July 19 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery in Weakley Co., TN. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 am Tuesday until the funeral hour.
