SANTOLIN


Bruno Joseph "Brownie" Santolin, 86, a longtime resident of Homewood, passed away in Glendale, AZ, on September 16, 2008. Born in Chicago on February 19, 1922 to Peter and Emma Santolin.

Bruno grew up in Pullman, graduated from Fenger High School in 1940, and proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.

He attended St. Joseph's Church in Homewood and was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Loving) of 21 short years.

Is survived by his two sons, Rick Delis of Phoenix, AZ, and Greg Santolin of Tempe, AZ. His two brothers, Al of Deer Creek, MN and Vince of Tinley Park, IL. Along with three grandsons and three nephews and a niece.

A retired real estate salesman who's hobbies included collecting antiques and antique furniture restoration.

A celebration of his life will be held on October 4th at the Chapel at Cedar Park Cemetery in Chicago, where he will be united with his wife. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Saint Joseph's Church in Homewood, IL.
