Ardnol Paul Harless was born November 9, 1915, at Elk City to William Brown and Flossie (Belknap) Harless and passed away July 26, 2010, at the age of 94. He attended Merritt Schools. He married Velma Hasty on June 1, 1940, and they continued to live in the Merritt Community. Mr. Harless worked in the Merritt School System and retired after some 50 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Kimberly Jean Harless, and brothers C.B., Arthur, and Cecil.
Survivors include his wife Velma of the home; son Linual Harless and wife Penny of Oklahoma City, daughters Loretta Brewer and husband Kenneth of Carter OK and Denise Thornton and husband Billy of Delhi OK; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
