Mrs. Louis J. Humphries, Remsen, Mrs. Jennie Smith, Mrs. C. F. Archer and Miss Irene M. Bush, Utica; Mrs. W. G. Clinton and Mrs. E. J. Wilbur, Albany spent several days in town being called by the illness and death of their mother Mrs. Emma Bush.
The funeral of Mrs. Emma Bush was held Thursday at 10 a. m. at St. Stephen's church during a solemn requiem mass, with Rev. Father Martin O'Kane, O. F. M., celebrant; Rev. Father Cuthbert Cotton O. F, M., deacon, and a cleric as subdeacon. The bearers were Norman, Melvin and Elmer Company, George Andre John Henry and Leonard Bush. The Rosary society, of which she was a member, attended in a body. Burial was made in St. Stephen's cemetery. Relatives were present from Albany, Troy, Remsen, Utica, Clinton, Martinsburg and Lowville. Lowville Journal and Republican, Thursday, May 31, 1934
