FORT WORTH - C.G. "Blackie" Blackman, 82, a retired civil service aircraft inspector, died Tuesday in Fort Worth .

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth .

Visitation: 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Blackman was born in Mullin and had lived in the Fort Worth area since 1941. He was a longtime member of River Oaks Masonic Lodge 1311.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Lucille Blackman of Fort Worth ; four sons, William Everett Blackman and Bobby Joe Blackman, both of Azle, Edward Terry Blackman of Corpus Christi and Gary G. Blackman of Fort Worth ; daughter, Peggy Blackman Garcia of McAllen; brother, Horace Blackman of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Bourn of Lubbock, Jerry Meyers of Plano and Opal Crider of Llano; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
