Esther Lou Roberson, 87, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, Oct. 30th at Faith United Methodist Church with Terry Hull offic iating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday Oct. 29, 2006 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 7, 1919 to the late Grover Alton and Belva Mae Fleenor Pipkin, the third child of nine, in Pleasant Grove, TX. She married Pete Roberson on May 28, 1938 at Greenville, TX.
She loved to go places, visit loved ones, and do crafts as long as she was able. She will be missed each day by all her loved ones until the day we are all united with her forever in our home in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pete; sisters, Lynna Willis, Elsie Haddock, Adaline Henderson; and brother, G.A. Pipkin.
She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanean and Coy Butler of Elmer, Gail and Dan Haney of Lubbock, and Sue and Glen Dickerson of Vernon; nine grandchildren and their spouses and children; three sisters,
Wanda Richhart of Sulphur Springs, Bernice Long of Lubbock, Ava and her husband, Homer Brunson of Rowlett, a brother Buford Leon Pipkin; twenty-two nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
