From "The Bryson Ancestors on the Edge of New Frontiers", published 2011, p. 73. by author James Davis Bryson, he states, "Jane was born in 1873 in Mecklenburg County and remained there until she died about 1864. She never married but rather lived on the family farm with her parents." I realize grave marker shows YOB as 1781. I really don't know which is correct.
