JOHN EVERETT CLARK
Funeral services for John Everett Clark were Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the Smith-Perkes Funeral Home with President Allen West of the Green River LDS Stake conducting. Burial was in the Coalville Cemetery.
Clark, 74, longtime resident of Green River, died Oct. 14 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs of an apparent heart attack.
He was born June 30, 1914 in Coalville, Utah, a son of Joseph C. and Elizabeth (Bagnell) Clark. He married Beesie Mae Carter on April 3, 1938, in Coalville.
He spent his early years and was educated in Coalville, where he started working for Mountain Fuel Supply Co. in 1934 as a roustabout. He retired from Mountain Fuel Supply Co. after 39 years, and at the time of his retirement was a communications foreman. He had resided in Green River since 1948. He was a member of the LDS Church.
He is survived by his wife of Green River; a son, John D. Clark, Green River;a daughter, Mrs. John M. (Georgia) Larrabaster, Rock Springs; two granddaughters, Lisa and Lynda Larrabaster, both of Rock Springs; a brother, Douglas W. Clark, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Gwennola) Blonquist and Mrs. Ray (Charlotte) Simister, both of Coalville.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane C. Jensen, and two brothers, James C. and Samuel Clark.
