William O. Laird, 63, 1908 Clarendon Ave., Bessemer, Jefferson, Alabama, died 12 November 1931 of Lobar Pneumonia, contributory cause was chronic Myocarditis. Married to Lillie A. Laird. Born in Ga. December 1867 to John W. Laird, born Ga., and Nannie Smith, born Ga. He was a moulder at U.S. Pipe Co. for 42 [40?] years, and last worked 31 October. He was buried 14 November 1931 at Cedar Hill. Undertaker was Browns. Informant was C.A. Brody.

Service held from his home 1808 Clarendon Ave. Saturday, with burial in Cedar Hill. Died Thursday night. Native of Fairburn, Ga. Besides widow, survived by three daughters and three sons.
