BRIEF HISTORY:
John Pringle was born 26 January 1819 in Killingworth, Longbenton parish, Northumberland, England to Thomas Pringle & Ann Emerson. Elizabeth Graham was born 13 May 1816 in Wigton, Cumberland, England to Henry & Sarah Graham.

John & Elizabeth Graham Pringle were married 19 November 1836 in New Castle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.

John & Elizabeth Graham Pringle had eight known children: Thomas (b. 1840); Sarah Ann (b. 1843); Sarah Ann (b. 1845); Joseph (b. 1847); John (b. 1849); William (b. 1851); Hannah (b. 1853) and Hiram (b. 1855). Three children died in England: Thomas, Sarah Ann (1843) and Hannah. The latter two died as infants.

John was a coal miner. The Pringle family lived in Northumberland and Durham Counties in England. They immigrated to the United States in 1868, with the possible exception of Joseph who may have come a little later. The family first lived in Rensselear County, New York and then went to Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. At this time, it is unknown what happened to Sarah Ann after the 1870 census. Two of the boys, William and John Jr. remained in Pennsylvania. John & Elizabeth Graham Pringle went to Utah in October 1880 to join their sons Joseph and Hiram. They lived in Coalville, Utah.

The exact date of Elizabeth Graham Pringle's death is unknown, but it was between 29 June 1882 and 1 June 1886 probably in Coalville. After Elizabeth Graham Pringle's death, John married a widow, Elizabeth Allgood Williamson. They were married before 1 June 1886 probably in Coalville. Elizabeth Allgood was born 25 August 1836 in Whitwick, Leistershire, England. She was married first to David Reed Williamson. David immigrated to Coalville, Utah in November 1880 and died the next year, only three months before his wife and five daughters arrived in Utah in September 1881.

John Pringle died 29 March 1901 in Coalville, Utah and is buried next to Elizabeth Graham Pringle in the Coalville Cemetery. Elizabeth Allgood Williamson Pringle died in 1925 and is buried by her first husband, David Williamson in the Coalville Cemetery.
