Eugene Warrick passed away April 27, 2012. He was born March 11, 1928, in Silva, Wayne County, Mo., the youngest of 13 children born to Henry Harrison Warrick and Watie Iona (Stubbs) Warrick.
Eugene came to Medford, Ore., in the fall of 1947, with his friend, Ira Morris, and in February 1948 he began working for Oscar Frei, who ran a two man sawmill in the canyon at Toketee Falls. In 1951, he began working for Olsen-Lawyer Lumber Company, later Boise Cascade, remaining with the company until his retirement in 1990.
He married Janet L. Turner, the daughter of Clare V. and Elsie (Gabel) Turner, on June 30, 1949, in Medford. He is survived by his wife, Janet; their two children, Randy D. Warrick, and Clifford E. Warrick; as well as four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
