Marie G. Dismukes, age 77. A native of Prichard, AL and a resident of Spanish Ft., AL died on July 17, 2011. She was a graduate of Vigor High School, the first Miss Vigor in 1950, an Azalea Trail Maid and runner up in Miss Alabama and she was very active in church and engaged in many other special activities. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack Dismukes; children, Rhonda (Olen) Cockrell, Gregory Dismukes; brother, William (Esther) Nicholson; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com
