Johnny Reed "Junior" Armstrong, Jr., was born July 10, 1929, at Butler OK to John and Goldie (Burkholder) Armstrong and passed away November 12, 2009, at the age of 80. He was married to Sue Flowers in 1954 and then Emma Jean Foster in 1958. He and Emma lived in Oklahoma City until 1976 when they moved to Elk City. Junior owned and operated Armstrong Trucking with his brother Edward until 1976 and then bought a farm and a motel with Junior taking over the farm operation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, son Phillip, daughter Glenda, brother Edward, and sisters Lucy Matthews, Billie Kay Bailey, and Jo Reed Page.

Survivors include his daughter Robbie Allen and husband Kenneth of Elk City, son Rickey Armstrong and Pam Hall of El Reno OK, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and sister Bobbie Noblitt and husband Jimmie of Elk City.
