Lester B. Williams

MORRISDALE - Lester B. Williams, 72, of Morrisdale R.D., died at 1:05 a.m. today, Sept 17, at the Philipsburg State General Hospital.

He was born in Morrisdale R.D. July 12, 1903, a son of Cyrus and Minnie (Dunkel) Williams. He was retired from General Refractories of West Decatur, and was a member of the Summit Hill United Methodist Church. He was church organist, custodian and caretaker of the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, the former
Naomi Smeal, and one son, L. Glenn of Philipsburg. Five grandchildren also survive.

These brothers and sisters survive: Robert of Hershey; Max of West Decatur; Roy of Lititz; O. Russell of Lemoyne and Mrs. Mary Lumadue of State College.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Services will be held at the Summit Hill United Methodist Church Friday, Sept 19 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Homer Smith will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Mr. Williams' home near the Bigler-Allport cutoff, from 7 p.m. today until time of services.
