OBITUARY:
Helen Jonas Weatherly, 80, of Bristol, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 26, 2001. She had resided at the Cambridge House for the past two years.
Mrs. Weatherly was a native and lifelong resident of Bristol, Va., and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Elmer Charles Weatherly, who passed away in October, 2000. Mr. and Mrs. Weatherly were members of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church for 57 years.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Bill Johnson of Bristol, Va.; and one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Wanda Weatherly of Cary, N.C. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001, in Mountain View Cemetery with Brother Joe Hudson officiating. There will be no formal visitation held at the funeral home. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected].
