Elmer K. SNYDER, a Pennsylvania freight office clerk in Lock Haven 59 years until retiring six years ago, died yesterday at 8:45 a.m. in the Williamsport Hospital.
Born in Lock Haven 7 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph SNYDER, he lived at 30 West Bald Eagle St. until three years ago when he went to make his home with his daughter, Mr. Leotta M KELLER, 1038 ½ Vine Ave., Williamsport.
He had been a hospital patient the past four weeks, and in declining health six months.
He was a member of First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lock Haven, the I.O.O.F. lodge and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
His daughter survives, with a brother, Joseph W., of Lock Haven, and two grandchildren. Linda A KELLER, Williamsport, and the Rev. David A. KELLER, minister of Heshbon Park Evangelical United Brethren Church, who will assist at the funeral.
FUNERALS
SNYDER-Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Yost Funeral Home for Elmer K. SNYDER, 7, formerly of 30 West Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven more recently of 1039 ½ Vine Ave., Williamsport, who died Friday, Nov 5, 1965 at 8:45 a.m. in the Williamsport Hospital. The Rev. Paul H. KLEFFEL, the Rev. William J. LIPPERT, and Mr. SNYDER's grandson, the Rev. David A. KELLER, will officiate for the service. Interment, Linnwood Cemetery, McElhattan. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.
