Dr. Walter Henry Kasserman, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
A memorial service was held Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Winesburg, Ohio. The Rev. Walford Scofield officiated. Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospital Foundation, or Zion United Church of Christ, Winesburg, Ohio.
Arrangements were handled by Karlo & Sons Funeral Home in North Canton, Ohio.
He was born May 7, 1918, in Hannibal, to Henry D. and Elizabeth (Tisher) Kasserman and married Pauline Fair in 1955. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Dr. David (Laurie Thompson) Kasserman, Dr. Jane Kasserman, and Anne (Michael) Rodgers, and two grandchildren.
