Clifford C. Bertram, 84, formerly of Morgan County, died Monday evening, December 21, 1992, in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the son of the late Joel Spencer and the late Nettie Meece Bertram. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Luther, Ott and Curtis Bertram.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Earlene Davidson Bertram; three daughters: Mrs. Ralph (Peggy) Pemberton of Wartburg; Colene Doran of Pontiac, Mich.; and Mrs. Dwight (Janet) Allison of Pontiac, Mich.; three sisters: Hattie Fletcher and Knatia (Natia) Letner both of Rugby, and Flora Shelley of Georgia; two brothers, Douglas Bertram of Elgin and Ray Bertram of Michigan; and 10 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and many other relatives survive also.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday evening, December 23, 8:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, with the Rev. Tom Mooty officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Laurel Dale Cemetery in Rugby. Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, was in charge of the arrangements.
