E. Milton Adams of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011. Mr. Adams was a son of the late Bernice and Ethel Adams. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Mayfield Adams of Peachtree City; daughter, Cathy Brown (Tim) of Peachtree City; son, John Adams (Jeryl) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Charity Madden (Steve) of Peachtree City; Larissa Rowe (Thorin) of Fayetteville; Caraleigh Tackett of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Brooke Madden, Brittany Madden, both of Peachtree City; Cameron Sanders, Matthew Sanders and Joseph Sanders, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Inez Huddleston of Woodland; Mildred Chastine (Delano) of Fayetteville; father-in-law, Alvin Mayfield of Tyrone; special niece, Julie Hulings of Tyrone; other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service held July 19 in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City with Dr. Jimmy Ellison, Rev. Scott Pickering and Rev. Billy Beard officiating. Interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
