Mrs. Lilah Curtiss, the former Mrs. Earl Curtiss, of 1123 Jefferson S.E. Grand Rapids died at midnight Wednesday in Grand Rapids after a lengthy illness. She was born August 9, 1881, in Odessa township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lant Anway. In 1904 she was married to Earl Curtiss and they lived in Odessa township until 1914 when they moved to Easton township and later she moved to Grand Rapids. She was a former member of the O.E.S. and Rebekah lodge.
She is survived by one son, Marion, of Kalamazoo; one daughter, Clare Curtiss of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren; one brother, Ed Anway, of Lake Odessa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Sullivan funeral home in Grand Rapids. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.
